There are some actions relating to changing the details of the case.

Change Product type

CMS has been updated to show different screens/workbaskets for different Product types. (e.g. only FR product type displays Plans stage screens or if the case has DW Product type then within the Referral action, only DW specific workbaskets are shown). If you are not being shown the screen or workbaskets that you expect then you may need to change the Product type of the case.

  • Select the Change product type action from the Actions menu.

  • The screen will show the current product type.

  • Select the new product type from the dropdown list.

  • Click Submit.

Change Category

CMS will be checking that the LRS category for the applications in the case match the setting that it has recorded. If they don't match then you will not be able to progress the case. If the LRS application has the correct category but CMS is reporting a mismatch then use the Change category action to update the recorded category in the CMS case.

  • Select the Change category action from the Actions menu.

  • Select the appropriate category from the dropdown list.

  • Add a note explaining why the category has changed.

  • Click Submit.

Change Assigned Squad

For users working in squads, CMS will make sure that a case stays with the squad that it was first assigned to. If the case needs to be moved to a different squad then use the Change assigned squad action.

  • Select the Change assigned squad action from the Actions menu.

  • Select the appropriate squad number from the dropdown list.

  • Click Submit.

    • The case should now display the relevant squad flag at the top of the screen.
