Process Steps

Additional Information

1.1 Complete your details.

1.2 Complete details of the title(s) affected – enter title number, cadastral unit number and the section of the title sheet affected.

1.3 Provide a brief description of the nature of the perceived inaccuracy.

1.4 Provide a brief description of how you became aware of the perceived inaccuracy.

For instance, the inaccuracy may come to your attention on receipt of a letter from an agent or member of the public or during the course of a registration of a neighbouring title etc.

1.5 Advise whether the perceived inaccuracy is in a title to which you currently have a live application for.

If you currently have a live application for the title in which the perceived inaccuracy exists, the application should be placed in standover until further guidance is received from the Post Registration Enquiries team.

1.6 Consider whether you have any supporting documentation to send to the Post Registration Enquiries team and check the relevant box accordingly.

The ILR(I) will be submitted electronically to the Post Registration Enquiries team. However if you have any relevant documentation to submit with the form, for instance a letter or deed, this should be copied and sent in a transit to the Post Registration Enquiries team but you should advise this on the form to ensure they know to expect the supporting documentation.

1.7 Submit form.

1.8 Copy any supporting documentation and send it to the Post Registration Enquiries team with a note of your name and the title number to ensure it is matched to the correct form.

1.9 Place any live application in Standover until a response is received from the Post Registration Enquiries team on how to proceed.
