Searching for Text on a Page (CTRL-F)

Occasionally, you might find yourself looking for a particular word which is part of larger page. Use Ctrl and F to open a search box. The image below shows what it looks like in Chrome.

Type the word you are looking for into the search box. The word will immediately be highlighted wherever it appears on the web page – there is no need to press Enter or Return.

But that only works if the text appears on the main part of the page. If the text is hidden inside an "expand" box, there's another step to follow.

But that didn't work! Using the 'expand all' app

So you've tried CTRL-F and it didn't work. Before you go on to this step, check for spelling or typing errors. If you're sure the text you're entering is correct, it probably means that the text you're looking for is hidden underneath an Expand heading.

Step 1 - Click "RoS Apps". You'll find it at top left of your browser window. This won't take you away from your current wiki page.
Step 2 - From the expanded menu that appears, click "Expand All Sections"
The RoS Apps menu will disappear, and your wiki page will reload with all sections expanded
Repeat CTRL-F
This time, the search should find the text you're looking for.
