KIR (Private)

Introduction

KIR (Private) is the registration of property titles held by individuals, carried out by the Keeper without an application for registration being made by the owner of the property. The KIR officer will have access to an Instruction Card, which gives a complete list of all the sasine titles that are being transferred to the Land Register. Instruction cards are held in the 'O' drive.
