FR Plans - RA
This section contains all the user guides for completing the plans settle of a first registration (FR) in a research area (RA), and has been updated to reflect the changes in practice needed with the introduction of the Plan Creator.
In Step 1 - Take on case, there are a series of checks to be made that will identify if the FR is for a tenement or non-tenement property. There are separate user guides to be followed for both types of property.
In Step 3 (Non-tenement) - Check for common areas & shared plots, there are a series of checks to be made that will identify which of the 3 options in steps 4 to 7 should be used - no common areas, sharing & shared plots, or common areas that are being registered under the transitional provisions.
In Step 3 (Tenement) - Check for common areas & shared plots, there are a series of checks to be made that will identify which of the 3 options in steps 4 to 7 should be used - Tenement property with all rights, etc contained within the tenement steading; tenement property that becomes a sharing plot as it includes rights in a shared plot outwith the tenement steading; or tenement property with rights in external common areas that now fall within the tenement steading as they are being mapped under the transitional provisions.
