TP Plans - Cat B
Update - September 2020
The DMS is now being phased out and replaced by Plan Creator. Guidance for using plan creator is available on the O Drive - see this update for details of where to find it.Â
This section contains the user guides for completing the plans settle of a transfer of part (TP) that has not been set up for instructional map.
- In Step 1 - Take on case, there are a series of checks to be made that will identify if the TP is for a tenement or non-tenement property. There are separate user guides to be followed for both types of property.
- In Step 2 (Tenement) - Prepare for mapping, there are checks to be made to identify if (i) the parent title has already been set up as a tenement steading cadastral unit for the tenement, (ii) if the parent title has not already been set up as a tenement steading cadastral unit for the tenement, in which case the TP application should be processed following the TP Plans - Tenement First Removal User Guide.
- In Step 3 (Non-tenement) - Check for common areas & shared plots, there are a series of checks to be made that will identify which of the 3 options in steps 4 to 7 should be used - no common areas, shared & sharing plots, or common areas that are being mapped under the transitional provisions.
- In Step 3 (Tenement) - Check for common areas & shared plots, there are a series of checks to be made that will identify which of the 3 options in steps 4 to 7 should be used - Tenement property with all rights, etc contained within the tenement steading; tenement property that becomes a sharing plot as it includes rights in a shared plot outwith the tenement steading; or tenement property with rights in external common areas that now fall within the tenement steading as they are being mapped under the transitional provisions.
