9.1 Check all references on the cadastral map are included in the TP title sheet.

9.2 Check all references in the TP title sheet are included on the cadastral map.

9.2.1 If the title sheet contains reference to 'Title Plan' or 'Supplementary Plan' refer to first removal officer to consider amending the terminology to 'cadastral map' and 'supplementary data to the title sheet'.

9.3 Complete the Reports field on the title workdesk if applicable.

9.4 If the property value is over £3 million, refer for high value casework procedures.

9.5 Action and delete any redundant next application notes.

9.6 Check title workdesk notes and instructions have been actioned and acknowledged.

9.7 Check if any other application(s) has been created against the TP title since the start of the settle process and request, attach and settle application(s) if it is appropriate to do so. 

9.8 When you are satisfied that the application has been completed, select Confirm in the title workdesk.

9.8.1 The title sheet is displayed in 'View Version' format.

9.8.2 Per the instruction displayed at the top of this screen, please check the title sheet and ensure all details are correct and up to date. If you are satisfied and wish to proceed press Confirm, otherwise press Cancel to return to the title workdesk.

9.8.3 If Cancel is selected you will be returned to the title workdesk. Any errors can be corrected, or amendments made, in the appropriate section.

9.9 When Confirm is selected, another screen is displayed asking if you are sure you wish to confirm the title. Press Yes to proceed.

9.10 A copy of the title sheet is generated in Word. However it is not necessary to print a paper copy of the title sheet.

Allow the title sheet to format in Word. As part of this process, wait for the Printing in Progress box at the top left of the screen to disappear before clicking on OK in the Print Information box. This will ensure the system has picked up the correct version of the title sheet for the notification.

9.11 When this is done, the Operation Check Results screen is displayed.

9.11.1 Close the title sheet and click on Don't Save in the pop up box.

9.11.2 If any of the warning messages require action, click on Cancel which will return you to the title workdesk to allow any errors to be corrected, or amendments made, in the appropriate section.

9.11.3 If there are any error messages click on Cancel which will return you to the title workdesk to allow any errors to be corrected, or amendments made, in the appropriate section.

9.12 Check all warnings and click on OK if appropriate. The title has now been confirmed.

9.13 Check all application workdesk notes and instructions have been actioned and acknowledged.

9.14 Identify any additional documents to be added to scanincluding any relevant deeds/documents that have been incorporated in the title sheet by way of reference to the archive record, and print and complete scan instructions.

9.14.1 Send scan instructions and documentation to scan marked for return and await return of documentation, or

9.14.2 Copy documentation and send copy documentation and scan instructions to scan and proceed to complete registration.

9.15 Release application to Legal Settle.

9.15.1 The retained function is no longer applicable for 2012 applications.

This is the stop point for the TP registration process. The TP and PT update must be completed on the same day.

9.16 Place case on appropriate shelf for senior officer to complete PT update.
