eFin and LRS - Joint Recording or Dual Registration in Sasines

3.1 Stamp the backing of the deed, FR application form and SAF with the joint recording or dual registration stamp as necessary. 

3.2 Complete eFin steps for SAF application, add Sasine UID to SAF and DIR and place SAF in a plastic wallet.

3.3 Create application on LRS for appropriate application type.

3.3.1 Add "Dual Registration" in the Additional Information field.

3.4 Insert class 4 code in the field application record (joint recording applications only). 

3.5 Print Flysheet and LR14A from LRS "Print" menu. Complete application details on the LR14A, sign it, stamp with Dual Registration stamp and place in plastic wallet in front of the SAF.

3.6 Add Land Register UID to DIR.

3.7 Photocopy deed(s) including colour copies of any plans. 

3.8 Place original DIR in plastic wallet behind SAF. Place photocopied DIR in FR casebag.

3.9 Where more than one LR application is created:

  • Place copy deed with lead application and find a view sheet with each additional application
  • Tie any benefited property LR applications with any burdened property LR applications
  • Title numbers and application numbers of all cases tied with the lead application should be entered and a move note should be added to all tie cases referring back to the lead application
  • Complete "tied with" card.

3.10 Prepare case for scan.

3.11 Place an orange "Dual Registration" card in front of the route card in the LR application.

3.12 Release all applications on LRS to the destination of the lead application. 

3.13 Place the plastic wallet containing the original DIR, SAF and LR14A in the Dual Registrations tray.
