Prepare application for scan and release to Despatch


11.1 Prepare application for scan:

  • documents that will not be returned to the agent (e.g. application and internal forms) and copies of deeds that cannot be scanned in original format (e.g. multi-fold security deeds that should not be split) placed in a red folder.
  • original deeds and documents that can be scanned (and will be returned to the submitting agent) placed in a clear folder - note that the SDLT certificate should not be archived.
  • where the documentation affects more than one title number, print and complete a ‘Find and View’ sheet for each one affected and place in each casebag with the application flysheet of each affected title number.

After scanning, the original documents are returned to the application for despatch.

11.2 Release application to Despatch Complete.

12.1 Ensure that on completion of work on eFin at the end of the day the batch is posted and any cheques are prepared for Finance.
