Decree of Rectification of Defectively Expressed Deed - Example Deeds

General

A decree of rectification of a defectively expressed deed (where that deed has been registered in the Land Register) is registrable by virtue of section 8A of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1985.

An application to register a decree of rectification of a defectively expressed deed should, once it has been entered onto the application record, be passed to a senior caseworker prior to registration proceeding.
