Add/Check Seed Point and Pre-Map on DMS - FR Plans Ident and PI

Process Steps

Additional Information

2.1 Open the /wiki/spaces/2ARM/pages/64455073 and select the FR application.

2.1.1 The DMS will alert the user if the title has been mapped. A pre-mapped application should be viewed on DMS but should not be taken on.

2.2 Determine if the address details have resulted in Auto PI or whether Manual PI is necessary.

2.2.1 If Auto PI has occurred the address details will have resulted in a hit on DMS and the seed point will have been automatically dropped.

2.2.2 If the address details have not resulted in a hit on DMS then a seed point will need to be added manually.

2.2.3 If the application has been pre-mapped the seed point and the extent of the plot will have been added to DMS.

Pre-Map Case

2.28 View the cadastral map on DMS. Do not take on the application in DMS as this will create an unauthorised version of the cadastral unit plan.

2.29 Examine the extent deed and check the extent, the seed point position and any other relevant details are correct on DMS.

2.29.1 If there are any inconsistencies, the category should be changed on LRS to 1 and released to Plans Settle.

2.29.2 If the details are correct, the application should be categorised as normal on LRS and released to Legal Settle.
