6.1 If the instructions at step 2.18 were to convert the existing parent title into a tenement steading cadastral unit, proceed to step 6.3.

6.2 If the instructions at step 2.18 were to create a new tenement steading cadastral unit, proceed to step 6.7.



Converting an existing parent title into a tenement steading cadastral unit


6.3 Put the casebag for the DW/TU together in the following order:

  • flysheet in front,
  • prints from the DMS showing the tenement steading cadastral unit, and
  • any correspondence or referrals in a separate poly-pocket, and clearly marked up if they are to be added to archive.


6.4 On LRS, release the case to legal settle_SCW first removal.

6.5 Retain the casebag so it travels with the casebag for the TP application for the flat.



Creating a new TP for the tenement steading cadastral unit


6.7 Put the casebag back together in the following order:

  • flysheet in front'
  • prints from the DMS showing the tenement steading cadastral unit and the original parent title, and
  • any correspondence or referrals in a separate poly-pocket, and clearly marked up if they are to be added to archive.


6.8 On LRS, release the case to legal settle_SCW first removal.

6.9 Retain the casebag so it travels with the casebag for the TP application for the flat.
