Remove & Add Shared Plot Relationship - Plans Settle

Refer to a senior adviser before proceeding to ensure this is the correct process to follow for your particular casework scenario. This is a relatively unusual scenario and it can be technically difficult to unpick the links between the titles if the wrong process is followed.

The following process should be used where the registered share in a shared plot is being transferred from a registered sharing plot that is not retaining a share in the shared plot to a registered plot that does not have an existing share in the shared plot.

1.1 Take on the application on LRS for the primary plot that the share is being added to (the receiving plot).

1.1.2 Complete an application record search on LRS and check that there are no earlier pending applications for the receiving plot.

1.2 Create a TU for the sharing plot that is conveying the share, and take on the relevant application on LRS.

1.2.1 Complete an application record search on LRS and check that there are no earlier pending applications for the conveying sharing plot.

An application over each title must exist before proceeding otherwise an error message will prevent completion.

1.3 Identify the title number of the shared plot.

1.3.1 Complete an application record search on LRS and check that there are no earlier pending applications for the shared plot.

Applications must be completed in date order and any earlier pending applications must be completed before proceeding further.

1.4 Examine the deed undergoing registration and identify the quantum share of the shared plot being conveyed.

1.5 Examine the existing sharing plot schedule in the proprietorship section of the shared plot title sheet and identify whether it is necessary to convert the quantum share detailed in the deed into the same share format as the existing schedule entries.

1.6 Select the application for the receiving plot on the LRS case workdesk and open the title workdesk.

1.7 In the Relationships tab select 'Add Share' and enter the title number of the shared plot and the quantum and ok.

1.8 Close the receiving plot application.

1.8.1 The receiving plot application and the AS application over the shared plot are now linked.

1.9 On the LRS case workdesk select the application for the sharing plot that is conveying the share, as identified above, and open the title workdesk.

1.10 In the Relationships tab select the appropriate existing shared plot relationship and 'Rel. Remove'.

1.11 In the prompt box select the AS application for the shared plot, as created above, and ok.

1.11.1 The application for the conveying sharing plot and the AS application for the shared plot are now all linked to the application for the receiving plot which is now the lead application.

1.12 Open the Plan Creator and create a DCU (or re-open the existing DCU if one has already been created) for the live application over the receiving plot title and make any amendments necessary to the mapping.

1.12.1 Where the receiving plot application is an FR or TP map the cadastral unit on the cadastral map following the appropriate Standard FR/Complex FR/TP sharing plot process.

1.12.2 Where the receiving plot application is a DW add any new references on the cadastral map in respect of the deed(s) undergoing registration.

1.12.3 Save and Approve the DCU.

1.13 Consider if any amendments are required to the mapping of the conveying sharing plot title.

1.13.1 If amendments are needed, create a DCU (or re-open the existing DCU if one has already been created) for the live TU application over the conveying sharing plot title and make any amendments necessary to the mappingSave and Approve the DCU.

1.13.2 If no amendments to the mapping are required, carry on to next step.

1.14 Consider if any amendments are required to the mapping of the shared plot title.

1.14.1 If amendments are needed, create a DCU (or re-open the existing DCU if one has already been created) for the live AS application over the shared plot title and make any amendments necessary to the mapping. Save and Approve the DCU.

1.14.2 If no amendments to the mapping are required, carry on to next step.

1.15 Add the relevant information for each title on the LRS title workdesk.

1.16 Complete the case and release the receiving plot application on LRS to LEGAL SETTLE.

1.16.1 As the applications are all linked this will also release the application for the conveying sharing plot and the application for the shared plot.
