Plans Information Paper 3/2008: Exclusion of Indemnity and the Plans Settler's Role
Recently, there has been some confusion over responsibilities and roles when the Plans settler identifies a problem with extent that will result in an exclusion from indemnity from a Title.
Section 8.12 23 of the Plans Manual which deals with this was unclear and confusing and as a result has been rewritten. It should be noted that there is no change to policy or practice.
