Part 5 - Authentication of Certificates

General

Once completed, the certificate is signed by the registration officer preparing it on behalf of the Keeper and in practice, the certificate is also sealed. It is also the practice to bind the principal certificate into a black folder (as used for extracts). The registration officer should then arrange to return the extract with the bound certificate and raise an invoice for the appropriate fee.
