Section 7: Searching a minute in ScotLIS

ScotLIS can be used to search for previous registrations and deeds.

  1. To Log into ScotLIS and select the “Judicial Registers” link.

  2. Then select “Register of Deeds” and the screen below will be displayed.

    1. You can search using:

      1. party name and deed submission date range.

      2. deed number

  1. A list of potential deeds will be displayed.

  2. Select the deed you are interested in and press the button.

  1. Check the “Confirm selection and purchase” screen that the correct deed is displayed and click the “Buy” button to “Purchase” the deed. As you have a RoS account you won’t be charged for the deed.

  2. The deed can be downloaded or emailed to yourself using the “Send email” button
