S5 Linking

The aim of linking is to identify and continue the best possible description of the property for the purposes of searching against it. This practice is inextricably linked to the description of subjects and therefore Section 5 should be read in conjunction with Section 4, which also provides many examples of linking.

In order to accomplish this aim information may be indexed from the dispositive clause of the writ, from its backing, the letter accompanying it, from the plan or from information previously shown on the Search Sheet.
