S6.3.4 Other Bodies Corporate (Post 1995)
These include:
- Building Societies
- Banks
- Some Universities
- Industrial and Provident Societies
- Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies
- Foreign Companies.
The following rules apply:
Signed by either
- *a member of the body’s governing board or, if none, a member of the body; OR
- *the secretary; OR
- *an authorised signatory.
To be probative, all of the above also require either:
*the signature of a designed witness; OR
*to be sealed with the Company Seal.
