S2.8.1.2 Withdrawals

Withdrawal Procedure

1) Select on screen the writ which required to be withdrawn on the drafting menu.

2) 'Return' to show the “pop up” window.

3) Enter 'W' next to status and confirm withdrawal.

4) Enter category of reason for withdrawal from the picklist.

5) Access withdrawal letter and complete accurately.

6) Place letter, writ and SAF in withdrawals tray in deeds room for processing by odd jobs officer.

Additional Information

  • If the writ has been the subject of a telephone call to the Agent, then note “P.R.” on the rubric. Where two or more interdependent writs are to be withdrawn and more than one firm of Agents is involved, ensure that the consent of each is obtained by telephone.
  • Note the Agent’s name and the date of the telephone conversation on the rubric.
