For certificates requested under:

  • RCS 62.40(4) per Article 50 of Schedule 1 or 3C to the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act (see Part 1A)
  • RCS 62.41 per Schedule 6 of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act (see Part 2) and
  • RCS 62.42 PER Schedule 7 of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act (see Part 3)

a fee (currently £10) is chargeable which includes the cost of one extract per certificate. The relevant provision can be found in the Registers of Scotland (Fees) Order 2014.

For certificates requested under:

  • RCS 62.40(5) per Article 57 or 58 of the EU Regulation 44/2001 (see Part 1B), and
  • RCS 62.48, per EC Regulation 805/2004 (see Part 4),

no fee is currently chargeable for the certificates, however the usual statutory fee should be charged for each extract issued with each certificate requested. This is £10 plus VAT.

For certificates requested under:

  • RCS 62.88

a fee of £30 is chargeable where CAJR require to make up the certificate.
