Start the search by selecting which county you want to search in. Select an option from the ‘County’ drop down list.
Then choose either the first or second series by selecting the radio button.
Choose what type of image you want to look for by selecting either the search sheet or index radio button. Click to ‘Continue’.
An index can be searched by a person, an address, an organisation or a volume and page number.
Choose a search focus by selecting the radio button. Only one radio button can be selected at a time.
There is also an ‘Advanced Search’ option to search by a Volume ID and/or a page number.
By clicking the ‘Clear’ link, all information entered the screen will be removed. This is useful if you’ve entered the wrong information or when no results are available that match your search.
A search can be run using different combinations of information.
