Day 1 - Drafting of Minute - Sasine Advance Notices

Process Steps

Additional Information

7.1 Open CSR using draft permissions.

7.2 Highlight VIEW MINUTE on the options menu and F5 to select.

7.3 Enter county.

7.4 Enter date.

7.5 Enter daily running number of first deed in the batch and press enter to bring forward skeleton minute.


7.6 Complete the skeleton minute by adding the following information taken from the advance notice:

  • Intended deed being protected or advance notice being discharged
  • Designations of parties
  • Description of subjects: where the description of the subjects is particularly lengthy or complex, refer to referral officer

- where the AN relates to whole subjects being transferred, the description should reflect a simple common-law description wherever possible (e.g. postal address)

- where the AN relates to part of subjects being transferred, the reference description must be included 

  • Any exceptions.
  • Date AN will take effect from, being the date after the date of recording (this includes weekends and public holidays)
  • Date of execution.

 

7.7 Further expand the skeleton minute by adding in any relevant code L information e.g. plan.

7.8 Click return to save the added information and click return again to save minute when editing is complete.

7.9 Repeat steps 7.1 - 7.8 for remainder of advance notices in batch.

7.10 All counties are confirmed by F4 function at the end of Day 1.
