Fees changes: voluntary registration applications, and dispositions evacuating a survivorship destination (registered subjects)

The Fees page has been updated to reflect certain amendments recently made to the Fees Order.  The first is to introduce a 25% reduction in registration fees for voluntary registration applications received on or after 30 June 2015.  The voluntary registration guidance page has also been updated to reflect this change, and to provide further clarification of the Intake examination process in relation to voluntary registration applications.  In order to qualify for the 25% voluntary registration fee reduction, the application type "voluntary registration" must be selected. The voluntary registration page contains further updates to clarify the process in relation to this, and changes have also been made to the application form check page.

The second change is that from 30 June 2015 the fee to register a disposition relating to a registered plot of land, for the sole purpose of evacuating a survivorship destination, and where the name and designation of the proprietor in the proprietorship section remains the same, is £60 for each title sheet affected.  A new deed code has been created for this deed type, and the new deed type has been added to the eForm list. The registrable deeds, fees and eFin categories page has  been updated accordingly. For the avoidance of doubt, the fee charged for a disposition over an unregistered plot for this purpose continues to be as specified in the table of fees for the value of the plot as certified on the application form.

The necessary changes have also been made to the relevant user guide pages, in particular the eFin pre-payment document screen page.
