The Sasine Archive

Introduction to the Sasine Archive

As part of the work to retire BOPS, 7.5 million search sheet images and their data have been copied to a new storage location and a new tool has been built for colleagues to view the documents. This work preserves the digital images of search sheets and indexes.

The long-term aim of the Sasine archive is to be a single source of all archived documents relating to sasines.

Recent work has incorporated Deed Search into the new archive. It has been rebranded as the Sasine archive, how it works has not changed.

The Sasine archive can be used to find

  • Sasine deeds
  • Sasine search sheets
  • Sasine search sheet indexes
