2.7 Click on the plot on the DMS map to view the information which may be relevant to the plot.
2.8 Identify if the plot forms part of a research area and consider any other information that may be relevant to the plot.
2.9 Identify any further relevant information and examine the extent deed and adjust the seed point position if necessary using the /wiki/spaces/2ARM/pages/64455283 button.
2.10 If appropriate, for a large or irregularly shaped plot provisionally map the extent of the plot with a red hatch on the index map - see Further Guidance on Manual Ident.
Carry out an index map search on the reports layer to see if an extent has been plotted that may be used to help the ident/mapping process.
2.14 Examine the documents to identify the approximate position of the plot.
Check deeds and application form(s) for any additional address details
Check deed plan for any map references or identifiable features (for example, another property or a road name)
Check Universal Web Viewer for any local identifiable features (for example, another property or a road name)
Check gridfinder spreadsheet for maptile number
Check LRS and identify if any nearby plots have been registered
Check any other documents in the application that may contain further information
Refer if unable to determine the location of the plot from the resources available.
2.15 Enter the appropriate details (for example, the maptile number, address or title number of nearby plot) in the Manual PI form screen on DMS. The DMS will open at the approximate area.
2.16 Examine the deed for extent and identify the plot position on DMS.
