Complete Parent Title Update - Sharing/Shared Plots - Legal Settle

Process Steps

Additional Information

1.1 Take on the parent title application (DW or TU) on LRS.

1.2 Complete the initial checks process steps over the parent title as normal.

1.2.1 Where no DW application exists a TU application should already exist as this should have been created prior to the shared plot application being created in the TP application on LRS.

1.2.2 Any DW or TP applications against the parent title must be completed in date order.

1.3 Follow the process steps to update the appropriate section(s) of the title sheet as normal to give effect to any DW application over the parent title.

1.3.1 Where the application over the PT is a TU update the title sheet update date to the date of registration of the TP undergoing registration.

1.3.2 Where a TU application has been created for the PT check the application workdesk contains the following N&I:

'TU application linked to registration of sharing plot TP [TITLE NUMBER/APPLICATION NUMBER]'

1.4 Check the shared plot schedule in the property section.

1.4.1 If any amendment to the shared plot schedule is required refer to plans. This is necessary to ensure any DMS casenotes are also updated. 

1.5 Check the extent of the shared plot has been numbered and edged in green on the cadastral map and that the appropriate removals note is included in the property section. 

1.6 Check the property description has been made 2012 compliant, if necessary.

This is the stop point for the parent title application. The shared plot application must be completed before proceeding to confirm the parent title application.
