Standard Dealing

A standard dealing with whole consists of the following registrable deed typesExceptions

 Disposition

with a plan

varying an existing destination

which specifies that there is a prescriptive servitude to be entered in the title sheet

creating new real burdens

creating a liferent

over a former leasehold interest

Standard security

with a plan

being registered against a lease title sheet

containing a new servitude or new real burden

containing a ranking clause

which is a mezzanine security (creditor holding as trustee or agent for syndicate)

Discharge of standard security

discharge of a standard security over a standard security

Notice of payment of grant/notice of payment of loan under s.84 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006

Complex Dealing

A complex dealing consists of every dealing (subject to the stated exceptions) which is not a standard dealing, including the following registrable deed types

Disposition the application for which specifies that there is a prescriptive servitude to be entered in the title sheet

Standard security containing a ranking clause

Discharge of a standard security over a standard security

Discharge of any interest that is not a standard security
