Search for an index – advanced search
The advance search allows colleagues to search for an image using a volume ID and/or a page number.
By clicking on the accordion link, text boxes for the volume ID and page number are displayed.
As the Volume ID is entered, all possible options for that county and series will be displayed in a list. Select the volume that you want.
The search can be narrowed further by entering a page number into the text box, otherwise click ‘Search’ to continue.
By clicking the ‘Clear’ link, all information entered the screen will be removed. This is useful if wrong information has been entered or when no results are found.
If there are results matching the information, a list of all index images which have an exact match to the volume ID and/or page number will be displayed.
If there are no results matching the information entered, a ‘no results found’ message will be displayed.
A search can be run using different combinations of information.
