Plans guidance update - hatches
The existing plans guidance page on Mapping Styles and Plans References on the Cadastral Map has been updated to expand a little on the use of hatch references when mapping complex titles. It confirms that multiple hatches should not be stacked on top of each other as the lower hatch(es) are obscured by the top hatch. In addition, staff are reminded that they should avoid using hatches on small or particularly narrow polygons as these do not display well on a pdf or paper print when viewed at the base scale. In complex titles that require multiple references, please consider the use of one or more groupings to aid with the clarity of plans references.
