Accelerated Flow FRs
- Editor47
This section will explain the CMS process for the new Accelerated Flow FR cases. Accelerated Flow is due to go live on 23rd March 2023.
The following is a list of things that have changed with the Accelerated Flow process.
FR caseworkers
- Login as normal but "switch apps" to Land Registration Caseworker (or Land Registration Team Leader for TLs).
- Cases will no longer have REG IDs. Intake cases will have INT IDs and then in the Plans and Legal stages, cases will have LR IDs.Â
- You will know it's an FR case by the Product Type shown in the Information tab on the screen.
- Stages will now be Intake/Plans/Legal instead of Receive/Map/Register.
- Screens will vary based on Product Type. If you accidentally change the Product Type to DW then the case will move on to DW screens.Â
- There is far more integration between CMS and LRS, with CMS checking the relevant LRS details whenever you click Submit. So you will need to work on both systems in tandem.
- For example, if a Legal Settler tries to click through the CMS screens only after having despatched the LRS applications, this will more than likely break the CMS case. You will require assistance from the Business Leads to recreate the case for you in these situations. Make sure that you proceed through the CMS screens before you despatch your LRS applications.
- CMS will be checking the Interest field, the Country field in the designation if the proprietor is non-UK, the deed types, the UIDs and the categories of the LRS applications.
- The number of screens for the Intake process has been reduced. You are still required to do all the usual intake checks but there will now be fewer screens in CMS verifying this.
- Grouping will now be possible between FR cases and between FR and DW cases. (Although it is advised that currently you only do this with the help of a Business Lead to ensure that submissions do not skip important stages).
- Plans screens have changed minimally.
- Legal screens have changed minimally.
- The referral process is now much more flexible. You will be able to refer to any relevant workbasket or choose a specific individual. (This is identical to the referral process that DW currently use).
- There will be no Dispatch cases created (as happens in current FR CMS) since this related to the return of paper documents and now all the documents will be digital.
- Complexity levels have changed. There will be no variation in SLAs. Only LRS category and CMS complexity levels will be stored.
- The LRS category and CMS complexity levels are independent of each other so any combination will be accepted by CMS. It will be up to the user to pick the correct combination of settings.
- If you are not sure which settings to choose then check the Categorisation of Casework page and if you need further assistance, refer the case or add a case collaboration note, tagging a referral point/team leader.
- Cases will be sent to a Representment screen if the agent has identified the case as a resubmission during the digital submission process. (Also if the same alpha code/form is detected then CMS will automatically identify this as a representment).
- Current/old FRs will stay on the current FR CMS. You will need to "switch apps" to CMS Caseworker (or Team Leader) to view or search for those cases.
DW caseworkers
- New FR cases will be in the same portal as DW cases. They will have the same Case IDs (INT and LR). The Product Type will used to identify the difference between FR and DW.
- Old FR cases will remain in the current FR CMS.
- You will be able to group DW cases to new FR cases (with LR case IDs).
- You will be able to use a new Custom Search function to help find cases when you don't know a Title or LRS application number.
- TLs will be able to use a new Custom Search function to identify sets of cases and then transfer them or download a spreadsheet.
- The Ungroup APFs action has been updated to allow the caseworker to select Supporting Documents that will be moved automatically with the chosen APF(s).
There are additional pages that explain each stage of the process within CMS step by step.
