Complete the Case - FR Plans - RA

Process Steps

Additional Information

Complete the case

8.1  On LRS, release the case or cases to legal settle.

8.2  On CMS, answer the questions on the Prepare for Mapping screen (please note, some settlers may chose to answer these questions earlier in the process, however the key point is that they are answered before the case is released):

  • Is the property in an RA? If necessary, add the RA details to the CMS.
  • Can I approve the plan?
  • Can I map the property?
  • Check the correct number of burdens deeds are noted.

8.3  Ensure that any documents, plans or referrals that are to be added to the Archive or the Business Record have been correctly identified and added via the appropriate system.

  • In particular, plans officers are reminded that if the application contains a pre-1934 plan, this plan should be added to the Archive for future reference.

8.4  Once the Prepare for Mapping page is completed, click Submit and move onto the Review Mapping page.

  • Check the information is correct
  • Check and confirm that the case has been released on the LRS and that the categories are correct

8.5  Once the Review Mapping page is completed, click Submit and the case will be automatically moved on to the appropriate workbasket.
