Mapping leases & sub-leases - reminder

The various plans guidance pages in the Mapping Leases section of the registration manual have been updated to emphasise the importance of carrying out an index map search when mapping a lease or sub-lease. Although we are not registering ownership in these applications, there is still the possibility of a competing lease title and an index map search will help identify this.
Registers of Scotland (RoS) seeks to ensure that the information published in the 2012 Act Registration Manual is up to date and accurate but it may be amended from time to time.
