Legal Vet - Prior to Settle

The vetting will be carried out according to the checklist in Annex 9, by the designated officer, normally of RO1 grade.

When a DW application is not being attached to an FR or TP it will be vetted by an RO2.

If a prior application is being settled then the application should be passed to that officer for vet/settle.

If further legal or plans input is required, the case will be referred on the LRS and the relevant entry in the log updated.

Add title note (in the lead case if appropriate) to confirm that the application has been vetted as per the published checklist, update the relevant entry in the log and release the application on the LRS to the plans vet officer. They will release the case to plans or legal settle as appropriate.
