PIP 2/2004 Tenement A Section Property Sections

Plans Information Paper 2/2004: Tenement A Property Sections

A decision has been taken by the Legal Policy Group in respect of Tenement A Section property descriptions where the flat extent is referenced on the Title Plan. Currently the instruction is that where the flat extent is shown on the Title Plan there is no need to include the verbal flat location apart from the floor level.

For Example "Subjects within the land edged red on the Title Plan being the ground floor flat tinted blue on the said plan, of the tenement 30 LODGE COURT, BIGGAR ROAD, LANARK"

The Legal Policy Group has taken the decision that the verbal location must be included within the description from this date.

For Example "Subjects within the land edged red on the Title Plan being the eastmost ground floor flat tinted blue on the said plan, of the tenement 30 LODGE COURT, BIGGAR ROAD, LANARK"

All relevant sections of the manual have been updated accordingly.
