PIP 3/2012 Parent Title Transfer Lists

Plans Information Paper 3/2012: Parent Title Transfer list to be stored on a shared Drive

The TP Plans Manual states that information on transfers of flats, common areas, leases etc. should be listed in the Parent Title case notes on the DMS . This method has become increasingly impractical as the DMS format is not suitable for storing large amounts of information.

To resolve this problem, Transfer lists for Parent Titles will be created and held in a shared drive in the PC. This new method of storage has been piloted and proven to be successful and as such this method will now be used for all new transfers of part from Parent Titles.

Saving the information on the PC shared Drive will allow all Plans and Legal staff, as well as Customer Service staff, access to the transfer lists.

The new lists will contain and store all transfer information from the Parent Titles including wholly removed areas.

The lists will be created in the TP sections by RO1 and RO2 Plans Officers using the instructions "RO1 RO2 instructions on how to create a transfer list". Subsequent transfers will be added to the lists where instructed to do so on the DMS using the instructions "SO1 Instructions on adding information to the transfer list".

Guidance on the creation, use and updating of the transfer lists are stored on the following shared drive:

O:\Production\REG3\Public\Transfer lists for Parent Titles

Please see your PWG representative if you have any queries on how to use the lists.
