Safeguarding the use of the GPC
Safeguarding the use of the GPC
The Cardholder is responsible for ensuring that their card is kept in a safe place and is only used by themselves in accordance at all times with the rules and procedures described in this User Reference Guide.
If the Cardholder has any concerns regarding the use of the card, advice can be sought from the Card Controller or Royal Bank of Scotland. (See Advice and Assistance)
The Card Controller will maintain a register of all Cardholders and Card Officers. Any changes to these details must be notified by the Cardholder to the Card Officer who will inform the Card Controller. Cards are not transferable from one individual to another, so where a Cardholder is to be replaced an application has to be made for a new GPC Card.
