This is a narrative or statement made before a notary, detailing procedure which has been transacted before him/her in his/her official capacity. It has been largely but not wholly superseded by the Notice of Title.
Usual form of minute is:
NOT. INSTRUMENT, AB (design), - of (subjects): - on (here specify the links in title mentioned); and another writ.
Note: The "another writ" is the last recorded title.
