S2.5.3 CSS

1. When a carry out sheet is opened the burdens affecting the ‘S. of S.’ will appear in this box.

 

2. This box holds the ‘From SS....’ or ‘From CSS.....’ data.  This provides details of where the CSS being viewed came from, with volume and folio if applicable.

 

3. This box contains details of the County, CSS number, and the status of the sheet being viewed.

The statii can be:

a) Active - A Computerised Search Sheet is open.

b) Cancelled - If a CSS sheet is opened and after recording we then discover that the deed was presented in error e.g. should have been presented in the Land Register, the CSS would be cancelled.

c) Closed - When subjects are combined/merged onto another sheet or when a black closing note is added to the sheet.

 

4. This box contains the best description of the subjects.

 

5. The number of the ‘S of S’ being viewed appears in this box.

 

6. Minutes will be displayed here in full once they have reached status recorded (been through the Print Room). The minutes will be in Minute Book format. i.e. no codes will be displayed. Fiche/frame numbers and yearly running numbers will also be displayed.

 

7. This box contains pencil notes.
