1.9 Postcode Field

If one exists, postcodes are always indexed for addressable subjects in the land register. No other information should be included in the postcode field. Postcodes contain up to a maximum of 7 characters, and the spaces are added automatically between the 2 parts of the postcode.

It is important to ensure that the number "0" and the letter "O" are not used incorrectly.
