S7.2.6 Dual Registration
It should be noted that recording for preservation/preservation and execution supersedes the normal procedures for Dual Registration. Usually, a Stop at Despatch Form and L14A is included with the deed when it is handed in to the Print Room but, effectively, this is ignored at Despatch and rather than being forwarded to the Land Register to be reunited with the casebag the deed follows the procedures outlined above and is eventually sent to the National Archives.
Where a deed is for Dual Registration and is also marked for PRES./PRES. & EX., then a colour copy of the plan should be placed with the relevant casebag in the Land Register, either by LR Intake who initially take on such deeds or via Sasine Intake.
